COST Action proposal “ROAR-NET - Randomised Optimisation Algorithms Research Network" approved by the COST Committee of Senior Officials

The proposal “ROAR-NET - Randomised Optimisation Algorithms Research Network", led by professor Carlos Fonseca, was approved yesterday by the COST Committee of Senior Officials. Involving 73 proposers from 35 countries on 5 continents, including 11 companies and 2 NGOs, this new COST Action (CA22137) will officially start between September and November 2023. 

COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a funding organisation for research and innovation networks. Their Actions help connect research initiatives across Europe and beyond and enable researchers and innovators to grow their ideas in any science and technology field by sharing them with their peers. COST Actions are bottom-up networks with a duration of four years that boost research, innovation and careers.
