On Tuesday, May 31, at 16h00, Haitham Hijazi (engineer and CISUC's PhD Research Fellow) will pitch at the Hannover Messe 2022 about his work "iReview: intelligent tool for code review evaluation".

Code Review became a lightweight process and highly reliant on individuals (1-2 reviewers), thereby hugely affected by an individual's cognitive states. iReview provides an intelligent tool to evaluate the quality of the code review based on assessing the code reviewer's cognitive state through non-intrusively extracting biometric measures from reviewers such as Heart Rate and Skin Conductance using wearable devices. The results produced by iReview after each review include an overall evaluation of the review; a pointer to code regions that were not well reviewed; and an explanation of why the review was bad for each code region classified as a bad review.

This work is part of a Ph.D. research work supervised by Professor Henrique Madeira and co-supervised by Professor Paulo De Carvalho and Dr. João Castelhano.
