Inside-out OLSR Scalability Analysis



The ideal network size for the Optimized Link-State Routing
Protocol (OLSR) was determined taking into account several parameters,
providing concrete and innovative foundations for future clustering solutions
much required for Large Scale MANETs. An extensive simulation
study was performed on small scale wireless networks, using the OPNET
Modeler Wireless Suite, considering the OLSR protocol routing scalability.
The obtained results revealed a good performance for up to 70 nodes
with moderate node mobility and with no more than 16 traffic flows.
