Researchers of CISUC developed a new solution to enable conventional auscultation in people infected with COVID-19
Our researchers Paulo de Carvalho, Henrique Madeira and João Santos, in partnership with doctors of Coimbra Hospital and Universitary Centre, developed a new solution to enable conventional auscultation in people infected with COVID-19 in order to avoid the risk of infection. This new solution allows the connection between a stethoscope placed on the infected patient and the doctor, through an android phone, a commercial electronic stethoscope and earphones.
