The winners of the 2nd edition of the Best Thesis Award, which distinguishes the best master's dissertations in IT, were announced during the 31st APDC (Associação Portuguesa para o Desenvolvimento das Comunicações) Congress. Bruno Ribeiro Dias, from the Master in Computer Security of the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Coimbra, won in the Telecommunications category with his master thesis "Prevenção da vulnerabilidade em contratos inteligentes em blockchain", supervised by professors Naghmeh Ivaki and Nuno Laranjeiro.
