Governing Bodies
CISUC’s governing bodies include: The Director of the Centre; Two Deputy Directors; Scientific Commission; Plenary Assembly; and Advisory Board (AB).
The Director works closely with the Deputy Directors and the Scientific Commission, which is composed of the Group Coordinators and has overall responsibility for the centre.
Each Group Coordinator leads the corresponding group’s activity, in line with the centre’s mission and goals. The Plenary Assembly is composed of all Integrated Researchers and one representative of the PhD students from each group.
The Plenary Assembly meets at least once a year to discuss the budget, work plan, and the yearly report. The Advisory Board comprises renowned experts in CISUC's research areas, and assists the Centre in strategic planning, self-assessment, and overall policy.
All administrative support of the centre and the majority of the research laboratories are located in the Department of Informatics Engineering building at the new campus of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology.
